Whatever you want to say about Barry Bonds and his record breaking 756th home run (last night), it’s still an amazing achievement. A cloud, no doubt, hangs over the record, but it still points to the value of hard work executed over a long period of time. Hank Aaron said it best last night:
"I would like to offer my congratulations to Barry Bonds on becoming
baseball’s career home run leader. It is a great accomplishment which
required skill, longevity and determination.
Skill. Longevity. Determination.
Words that speak for themselves.
