Small thing number three that can make a big difference: Exceeding Expectations

Exceeding expectations is one of the best ways to increase satisfaction in all types of relationships. We tend to think of it as connected to customer service, but exceeding expectations is important in all relationships. Here are a few ways to exceed expectations:

1) Listen, really listen

2) Do a remarkable job–not just a "good enough" job

3) Do something unexpected that adds to the value of the action or service you are providing
