I’m curious though, from a leadership standpoint, should he have finished the season? Were things so bad between the team and Patrino that he just needed to immediately vacate? I don’t know. But, leaving this way, with three games left, seems to hurt an already troubled organization more.
When to leave and when to stay? That is the question. The answer is often difficult.
