Leaders are change agents. Yet, so many don’t understand the arc of change and how to maximize that arc in the pursuit of creative opportunities.

One critical quality of a transformational leader is curiosity. Curiosity is the cultivated practice of seeking what is not readily visible, but oh so important to life, and in this case, your organization.

Some people are satisfied with the surface of things. Curious learners are not. Curious learners "wonder" and "explore" dimensions of things that only yield their secrets to the persistent. All great innovators and inventors (change agents) remain(ed) curious, when others give/gave up.

To be curious and creative requires an ability to stay with something that many people abandon too quickly: chaos. More on this in the next "transformational arc" musing.
